There are hundreds of types of laptops to choose from, but several noteworthy brands stand out among the rest.

Dell is one of the biggest names in PC laptop computers.  Their computers are custom-built to the specifications of each customer.  This is what has made Dell so successful.  They consistently produce reliable laptop computers with whatever built-in hardware the user has requested.  A good Dell laptop should last at least 3-4 years.

Toshiba is another large manufacturer of laptop computers.  Toshiba laptops are compact and inexpensive.  The company has a wide range of laptops that can suit the needs of most business professionals as well as students.

When you are shopping for a PC laptop computer, I would recommend starting out by comparing the latest models from Dell and Toshiba.  Next, look at the computers made by smaller companies and see how they compare in terms of size, weight, memory, hard drive size, and price.  You will then be well on your way to choosing your next laptop computer!
